Umberto Cesari – Moma Rosso

2018 was a great vintage in Italy, and this wine really shows the picture perfect growing season. The wine is 80% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, from vineyards averaging 15-20 years of age. The Sangiovese grapes provide their charisma as well as an intense scent of purple plums, the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested late, give it softness and class, while the Merlot grapes add sweet and grassy notes. Soft to the palate, it ends with a well-blended flavour.

Botter Organic Primitivo

An intense purple colour, this wine has a pleasant, characteristic and ethereal bouquet. Fruity, with notes of plums cherry marmalade and tobacco; spicy with an aftertaste of cocoa, coffee and vanilla. Medium bodied and smooth, this is an extremely pleasant and tasty wine! Enjoy with your favorite pasta, pizza or hard cheese.

Epsilon Shiraz

Epsilon is the project of Aaron and Julie Southern (Julie is a member of the Kalleske clan) who own vineyards in the Northern part of Barossa. As the familiar story goes with so many growers they sold off their fruit to larger wineries until a chance meeting with the Massena boys Dan Standish and Jaysen Collins. Under their guidance they convinced them to start up their own brand in 2004 and built a winery on the property. Sourced from a single vineyard the wine sees approximately 12 months in older French oak with only the best batches making the final blend.

Altamira Navigato Family Selection

The 2010 Navigato Family Selection Red Blend is a wine that has some age on it already but still has plenty more to give. The wine is a Bordeaux blend consisting of Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, and Family Selection means it is the top barrels used for this signature bottling! It is black garnet in color with bright inviting complex aromas of melted chocolate and pretty toasted herbs. On the palate we find raspberry and blackberry flavors intertwined with chocolate and coffee notes. The finish is wonderfully layered with great depth and balance to be enjoyed now or for many more years to come.
