A lithe red, with good cut to the red berry and plum tart flavors, supported by fresh acidity, showing notes of pepper and hot stone on the minerally finish. Offers impressive purity to the fruit components. .

Casajus Antiguos

The Casajus Antiguos Vinedos is produced with Tempranillo from vineyards planted in 1950 that aged for 14 months in oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation was carried out in the barriques. The fruit is ripe, but mixes notes of red and black berries, which are well-integrated with sweet spices and smoke aromas from the barrel. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with plenty of smoky flavors and abundant, fine-grained, slightly dusty tannins that call for more time in the bottle, ending slightly warm.
