Havana Club 7 year old

Anejo 7 years is the oldest product in the Havana Club range. Its unparalleled and acclaimed quality is the fruit of the traditional process by which Havana Club Cuban rum is made. The necessary “patience” for the ageing of this rum- 7 years in white oak barrels in the age-old cellars – instils in the drink that powerful and complex aroma: its distinguishing feature.

Havana Club 7 years is the drink par excellence at the end of a good meal. On occasions such as these, the Havana cigar and Havana Club rum are inseparable in their single tradition of quality.

Havana Club 7 years has a lovely, dazzling transparent amber colour. Gives off an outstanding bouquet. Round to the nose, it reveals rising woody and vanilla-smelling notes.

A very clean taste as well as soft in the mouth. Havana Club 7 years offers an exquisite, fine bouquet.

Bacardi 8

Bacardi 8 is aged for eight years, creating a smooth and full bodied premium rum. Nuanced aromas of vanilla, toffee, caramel and honey are supported by toasted oak and bittersweet chocolate. On the palate, Bacardi 8 is luscious and rich, with notes of prunes, apricot and vanilla over a clean, woody base. The finish is long, expansive and round with lingering sweet notes of vanilla.

Ron Abuelo 12 year old Rum

This rum is made from sugar cane honey not molasses – which makes a huge difference in taste for the better. Distilled in a 4 column still then aged in used bourbon white oak casks and bottled with a age statement. They use a blend of rums to make this product the minimum age of which is twelve years old. A lovely stately expression of a rum. Very complex and nicely dry. Unlike many of their competitors Abuelo did not make a sweet, syrupy and heavy expression of a old rum. This rum is complex in a lovely subdued and dry way, showing it’s age with grace and sophistication.
