Macauley Cabernet Sauvignon

The Macauley Vineyard label was originally established in St. Helena in the early 1980s by Ann Macauley Watson and for several years produced a very well received late harvest Sauvignon Blanc with help from renowned winemaker, Ric Forman.

Mac and Kirk have one goal: to source the highest quality fruit in Napa Valley and make wines of extraordinary depth and personality. The grapes they choose showcase the terroir of the vineyards and create a remarkable wine-drinking experience.

An orchestra of a vintage — the nose an overture of raspberry preserves, cocoa, and sweet oak vanillin while the palate offers brooding black cherry, currant and plum notes; The enjoyment is supported with a finely balanced acid and textural tannin that lifts the back palate and resonates for well over a minute. Thanks to Kirk and Mother Nature this Cabernet is a work of art and a 15+ year wine if cellared correctly. 500 cases made.

The Cabernet Sauvignon Napa has loads of chocolate, blackberry, espresso and new oak notes, gorgeous full-bodied texture, beautiful purity and length. Post Parade Cabernet Sauvignon ~ SOLD OUT

Exclusive to Baseline Wine & Spirits!

Post Parade refers to the moment when thoroughbred horses walk onto the racetrack, minutes before stepping in to the starting gate.

Post Parade is 100% Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a single vineyard blend, made from grapes harvested from plots specifically chosen for the way they complement one another. Aged for 20 months in French oak, Post Parade is full bodied and elegant. The lush mouth-feel, balance of fruit, acidity, and firm tannins make this wine incredibly cellar worthy. That said, it can also be enjoyed immediately “out of the gate”. If you happen upon a bottle, make sure you grab it, as production is very limited.

Caymus Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

A beautiful ripe, plump, fat and opulent style of Cabernet Sauvignon that Caymus has pioneered, the Cabernet Sauvignon has a dense purple color, loads of juicy blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, low acidity and no real evidence of oak, but a nice, plush, full-bodied opulence. This is irresistible, especially for a Cabernet Sauvignon coming in at 14.9% natural alcohol. Drink it over the next decade or more.
