Dark Matter Limitless Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Limitless is the star. Coming in at 15.4% alcohol, the wine has that extra gear and dimension to it that makes 2013 such a profoundly great vintage for Bordeaux varieties in Northern California. The wine has gorgeous forest floor, white flower, blackberry, blueberry and cassis notes, licorice, a savory, broad, full-bodied mouthfeel with terrific intensity, and somewhat surprisingly soft but noticeable tannins. This is a big, sexy, juicy, full-throttle Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 20+ years.

Kamen Cabernet Sauvignon

What a vibrant and expressive vintage! Radiant with perfectly ripe aromas of blackberries, cassis, strawberry, roasted nuts and perfumed plums. Hints of marzipan, espresso, black Indian spices, dried wildflowers, ripe passion fruit and the hallmark notes of stony minerality add incredible complexity.
A powerhouse of flavors both sweet and savory. Black and purple fruit flavors wind through wild sage and chaparral. The synchrony of balance and power make for an intriguing and complex wine with a long-lasting finish. Enjoy now and cellar over the next 25 years.

Stewart Cabernet Sauvignon

This Cabernet Sauvignon has ripe aromas of plum, cherry and a hint of white pepper. Flavors of blackcurrant, blackberry, and toasty, French oak are exactly what you would anticipate in this classic Napa Valley Cabernet. The wine’s smooth body and structure are evident, with the acidity acting as a building block in unison with the tannins giving a full and bold palate.

2016 VINTAGE: 2016 was another in a string of excellent vintages for Napa winemaking. Generous winter rains brought much-needed rainfall to saturate the root zones and replenish reservoirs. Moderate temperatures and bright sunshine enabled the vines to thrive throughout the spring and summer, creating a balanced, optimal growing pace. Warm days and cool nights during harvest season allowed ripening to progress at an even pace, resulting in wines that display complex fruit flavors and balanced acidity.
