Terrazas de los Andes Malbec Reserva

The Reserva Malbec is a combination of all the Malbec vineyards planted, a combination of high altitude vineyards aged between 20 and 80 years old. It is aged one year in French Oak and this vintage is a home run! The wine is a bright red with a purple Malbec shade and a beautiful nose of dark fruits, with floral and earthy hints in the background. The palate is a wonderful combination of plums and dark cherries with a toasty, spicey character of chocolate and pepper in the background. It is silky smooth with a medium long finish that can be described as powerful and elegant at the same time. Pair this with your favorite steak or burger on the barbecue and it can gracefully age for five plus years in your cellar!

Bodegas Salentein Portillo Malbec

This multi-award-winning wine comes from Bodegas Salentein, one of the largest cool-climate estates in Argentina, who have 2000ha of vines, at up to 1700m above sea level. Their Malbec grapes are grown at an average of around 1050m.

An intense red-purple colour, with an equally intense nose of plum and bramble. Round and fulsome on the palate, delivering a swathe of ripe, fresh black fruit held together by lush tannins.

Luigi Bosca La Linda Malbec

This is 100 percent Malbec grown in Mendoza, and the vines are at least 30 years old and grown at high elevation, almost 1000 metres above sea level. The grapes are all hand picked and hand sorted so that only the best fruit goes into the wine! The wine is only aged for 3 months in oak to preserve the fresh taste and keep the tannins nicely balaced. The result is pure Malbec. Intense purple colour with distinct aromas of cherries and spices. The palate is smooth and  balanced with a fresh dark plum and boysenberry finish with moderate length. This is a well-made, easy-drinking Malbec clean and packed full of flavor. It drinks fantastically right out of the bottle and is excellent with or without food!
