100 percent Syrah, loaded with exuberent aromas of raspberries, blackberries, cherry cola and a hint of chocolate. The palate is expressive and complex, full bodied and velvety smooth.  There is a smokiness and a minerality to go along with all the fruit, beautifully balanced and layered. The tannins are perfectly balanced and the finish is long and smooth.

These grapes were also picked late in the season, resulting in a big ripe wine with 14% alcohol. It has black cherry and vanilla aromas with black pepper. On the palate, it shows the variety’s classic gamey, leathery flavours that recall the meat counter of a deli. The texture is rich and generous. The touch of pepper on the finish wraps up a delicious wine.
