As soon as you open the bottle, the bouquet leaps out at you. It pours a dark, brickish red into the glass, and again, the lush aromas fill the room. Notes of red and dark fruit with a hint of oak up front, with back bone of dark chocolate and spice. The structure of the Cabernet blends nicely with the fruit of the Shiraz, never is this wine jammy or flat. The underlying earthy tone comes from the Grenache and the wine finishes long and smooth.

A blend of 78% Shiraz and 22% Grenache, the Wallace has is medium garnet in color with a gorgeous nose of black raspberries, kirsch and lavender plus black pepper, cloves and anise hints. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is soft, pepper-laced and seductive with impressive persistence and a lively acid and herb lift to the finish.

Heartland Shiraz

The dark colour preempts a wine of dense, layered black fruit.  The aromas of anise and cracked pepper are enveloped in classic blackberry.  The glass coating texture gives way to freshness on the finish resulting in a fine balance.  The structure imparted by oak and skin contact integrates well with the bright, but intense fruit.
